Assemblyman Joe Danielsen is kicking off his winter clothing drive this holiday season for children ages 3-16. The Head to Toe clothing drive is seeking donations from individuals and community partners throughout the 17th Legislative District. Winter clothing items are being sought and includes hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, and socks, and the drive will last until February 15, 2022. Last year his office collected over 1000 pieces of children’s clothing that was donated to local groups throughout the 17th Legislative District.
“The impact of COVID-19 is still creating economic and social displacement with our residents. I again am hoping for the collective kindness and generosity shown by the wonderful residents, business and social organizations will again bring unity to our community,” Danielsen said, adding, “I continue to be grateful by their compassion!”
Assemblyman Danielsen’s staff will be collecting supplies until February 15, 2022, and any donations must be clean and washed, and placed in a zip-lock bag and left in the designated box outside his office at 334 Elizabeth Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873, on the second floor.
