Latina Civic PAC endorses Latina Leaders for the election next Tuesday, November 8.

New Jersey’s leading organization in increasing Latina representation in government and politics, Latina Civic Political Action Committee (“Latina Civic PAC”) proudly announces the endorsement of the following candidates: Karol Ruiz – Board of Aldermen, Dover, NJ; Cindy Matute-Brown – Mayor of West Orange, NJ; Desiree Ramos Reiner – Councilwoman, Teaneck, NJ; and Jeanette Rios, councilwoman candidate in the City of Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
Latina Civic PAC is a non-partisan political action committee whose mission is to increase the number of Latinas in elected and appointed offices in the State of New Jersey. This organization promotes and supports progressive leaders who stand up for an agenda that invests in Latina political leadership and advances critical issues that matter to Latinas in New Jersey.
“These Latinas are positive forces for change in their respective communities,,” stated Laura Matos, chair of Latina Civic PAC. “We are thrilled they have stepped up to run for office and are confident in their ability to continue to serve in elected office.”
Jeanette Rios, part of the Vote for a Better Tomorrow campaign, has served as vice president of the Perth Amboy Democratic Party for two years and has dedicated over 13 years of public service to the City of Perth Amboy, including as an executive member of the Perth Amboy Business Improvement District (BID).



“We endorse these Latina leaders wholeheartedly. Latina Civic’s mission revolves around supporting the many Latinas who know how to improve their communities throughout New Jersey,” said Noemi Velazquez, chair of the endorsement committee for Latina Civic PAC.
