The Americano newspaper covered this year’s annual event held at the New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University. LAN President Javier Robles credited Rutgers CLAC for sponsoring this year event and Peggy Anastos of the Puerto Rican Commission for the breakfast and lunch served during the Assembly. Latino Leaders panelists were Eddie Gonzalez of the Paterson Board of Education; Nicole Rodriguez of the New Jersey Policy Perspective and Rebecca Escobar, Councilwoman of the City of New Brunswick, NJ.
